What is BALLB- How we pursue it?

BALLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) is a five-year integrated program that combines legal education with a foundation in the arts. It is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education, allowing them to understand the complexities of law while also developing skills in critical thinking, communication, and the social sciences.

The program typically includes courses in subjects like history, political science, sociology, and economics, alongside law-specific subjects. The BA LLB program combines courses from your chosen Arts discipline with core law subjects like jurisprudence, constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, contract law, property law, legal writing, and court procedures. Some universities might offer specializations in specific areas of law in the later years of the program. BA LLB course completes both Bachelor's degrees in five years instead of six (3 years for BA + 3 years for LLB). Many top colleges and universities offer this course and lakhs of candidates take admission to this course every year, proving the growing demand and popularity of a five-year integrated law program. Candidates who wish to pursue a career in litigation can appear for AIBE which is also known as All India Bar Examination.
