Voting continues for MCD elections, an average of 40% votes polled

New Delhi, December 4, 2022 (RNI): Voting for the MCD elections is going on since this morning.In the midst of sporadic clashes, there are signs of an average voter turnout of 40 percent till the news is written in the afternoon.
Strict security arrangements have been made for fair and free voting. Apart from Delhi Police, central forces have been deployed for security. Total 13 thousand 638 polling centers are being voted. 55 thousand EVMs have been arranged for this. Total 1349 The fate of the candidates will be sealed in the EVM by 5 pm.
As per reports received from various places, the pace of voting was slow in the morning, but picked up as the day progressed.
