Vegetables rates are Skyrocketing in TS: TPCC Spokesperson Dr Srirangam

Hyderabad, June 30: Today, under the patronage  of Telangana Women's Congress, a protest program was held under the leadership of State Women's General Secretary Pushpa Reddy in Balanagar, Kukatpally constituency, against the increased prices of essential commodities and vegetables across the state.  PCC members and TPCC spokesperson Dr.  Satyam Srirangam, Medchal Malkaj Giri District Women President Rajanola Lakshmi, State Women Vice President Durga Rani, Medchel District Women Vice President Jyoti and TPCC Secretary Bandari Naveen Goud were present.  On this occasion, Satyam Srirangam said that the prices of vegetables have increased so much that the common man cannot afford them, and when the prices of essentials have already skyrocketed, the prices of vegetables have become a burden to the common man, and not only the poor families, but also the middle class people who do small jobs, have become a burden.  He said that the price of tomato per kg was Rs 30 per kg and now it has Surpassed Rs 100, while green chillies were Rs 40 per kg, they have become Rs 150 per kg, Ginger is Rs 300, garlic Rs 200 per kg, and vegetables are close to Rs 100 per kg.  He said that the TS government is failing to control the prices if people's lives are in chaos due to the increased prices of vegetables.  A Block Working President Rama Devi, Quthbullapur A Block Working President Lakshmi Devi, Balanagar Division President Renuka, Old BowenPally Division President Vijaya Lakshmi, KPHB Division President Rajitha, Musapet Division President Jojomma, KukatPally Division President Krishna Veni, Varalakshmi  , Achamma, Fatima, Ammaji, Tara, Kausalya, Sai Bharti, Seemalatha, Balaji Nagar Division President Krishna Rajput, Balanagar Division Working President Matte Prasanna Kumar, Madhu Mohan, Javed Alishekhar Gajanand, Hemant, Pradeep Singh Siddu, Rushi Yadav, Bharat,  Vinod, etc were. participated in large scale.
