Hyderabad (RNI) Telangana state unit BJP's party Vice-President NVSS Prabhakar today met with union finance minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman at national capital in New Delhi and appraised to her on prevailing political and financial situation in the state.During his meeting, Prabhakar informed her about the polling trends of General elections which held recently and exuded hope that there are chances of party winning atleast 10 Loksabha seats in the state. Prabhakar, who is also former-MLA of Uppal assembly constituency, told her that there was a strong wave of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the southern states and people are wholeheartedly supporting welfare schemes of Modi led government.Prabhakar also discussed with union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on financial condition of state Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. He said financial position of the state is derailing day by day due to inept handling of the situation and Revanth Reddy government has already obtained Rs 12,905 crore new loans before completion of six months rule and trying to go for more borrowings which is beyond the limits of FRBM.The senior BJP leader brought to the attention of union finance minister that earlier BRS government had obtained huge loans in the name of corporations and present state Congress government also planning of setting up more corporations for new loans in the market.Expressing concern on the financial situation of the state Prabhakar alleged that Revanth Reddy government also putting huge and heavy burden on state exchequer with its political appointments like advisors and chairmen to various corporations. He also appraised about the central funds being utilised for other purposes other than marked subjects. The state Congress government is misusing central funds sanctioned for local bodies, he said.Prabhakar urged union finance minister to take measures to formulate and implement new RBI guidelines to ensure financial discipline in the state.
