TWO MISCREANTS ARRESTED

Buxar, 25 November 2022, (RNI): Buxar police arrested two miscreants from Chausa in Buxar district in connection with murder of a youth and sent them to jail after interrogation though one of the miscreants is still absconding. Police are conducting raids to arrest the third miscreant in this regard. The arrested miscreants were identified as Nayan Kumar Das and Dheeraj Kumar Sharma of Durga Mandir Chausa in Buxar district.

SHO Buxar Muffassil police station Amit Kumar said that four friends were merry making at a dilapidated building near Kritpura village under Buxar Muffassil police station on November 10, 2022. During merry-making they embroiled into argle-bargle and that took an ugly turn and three friends thrashed Manoj Yadav first and then administered poisoned into his body and killed him. Later they escaped from the scene. The police recovered the bodies on the information of villagers and brought them to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police started investigation on the basis of evidences recovered from the spot and arrested two persons in this regard from Chausa. The SHO further said that the arrested miscreants confessed and said as to how they killed Manoj Yadav.

In another incident, the RPF, Buxar arrested a woman thief from Patna-Ahamadabad Express train and sent her jail. She had boarded the train at the Ara railway station as beggar and tried to escape after stealing a purse from a woman passenger. The co-passenger informed the escort party at the train and the escort party arrested her and handed her over to the RPF at Buxar. The woman thief admitted her crime and the police got artificial jewelries from the purse and Rs. 770 in cash.

RPF in-charge, Deepak Kumar said that the passengers informed that a woman thief was trying to escape after stealing a purse from a lady passenger in the coach no S-6. Later the police arrested her.
