TWO BUSINESSMEN INJURED

Ara, 5 November 2022, (RNI): Motorcycle borne three armed miscreants entered a grocery store at Semaria Bazaar under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on November 4, 2022 and shot at and injured the shop owner. When the younger brother of the injured tried to nab them, the miscreants hit his head with the butt and injured him too. Later the locals chased and caught all the three miscreants and handed them over to police. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Badahara police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter. The police admitted one injured in a private nursing hall at Babu Bazaar in Ara and the other in the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured were identified as Krishna Keshari 56 and his younger brother Suman Keshari 35 son of Shiv Jee Sah and of Semaria village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district.

Krishna Keshari ran a grocery store at Semaria Bazaar while his younger brother Suman Keshari had a tea stall beside the grocery store. When they were in their shops, motorcycle borne three armed miscreants entered the grocery shop and pumped bullet into the body of Krishna Keshari from behind and injured him. When the miscreants were fleeing from the scene, Suman Keshari tried to nab them but the miscreants hit his head with the pistol butt and injured him. Despite the locals chased and caught all the three miscreants and handed them over to the police.

It was said that the motorcycle of the miscreants and a Pick-Up of the injured had collided at Mirganj area under Ara town police station about 10 days ago and both the parties had embroiled into hot discussion. That was said to be the cause behind the incident.

ASP Himanshu said that two businessmen were injured and the miscreants were arrested along with firearms.
