The future of Indian education is bright: Dr. Meena Jha
New Delhi (RNI) Famous educationist and Prof. (Dr.) Meena Jha of Central Queensland University of Australia has said that the future of the Indian education system is very bright and the children here are very hardworking.
Dr. Jha, who has obtained M.Tech and PhD in Computer Science after B.Tech, said this during an interview. She said that by considering IIT as a role model in the Indian education system and moving forward, the education here will further improve.
In response to a question, Dr. Jha said that the education system in foreign countries is based on serious analysis and implementation whereas the Indian education system has become examination based. Here, the focus of the children is only on how to pass the examination better. However, the children here are very hardworking.
She also said that in India too, there are IITs and some institutes where the level of research is a model for the world. This should also be adopted by other Indian educational institutions. She said that Indian educational institutions working together with industry and society will not only increase employment but will also create more skilled and efficient children. L.S.
