New Delhi (RNI) NDA's seat sharing formula has been fixed for a total of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, but there is confusion about the selection of seats. NCP (Ajit faction) national general secretary Brijmohan Srivastava said that even though there is a slight delay, the seats will be announced at the right time. He said that there is no confusion in the party or the alliance about this.
NCP spokesperson said that the leaders of the opposition alliance give statements outside, so there can be any issue from their side, but there is no problem of any kind in our NDA parties. Seats will also be announced at the appropriate time. The goal of the Mahayuti is to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister fir third time.
It is important to mention that in Maharashtra, the second largest state of the country in terms of number of seats after Uttar Pradesh, three parties are included in the NDA alliance. Apart from BJP, Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and NCP led by Ajit Pawar are in the NDA.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has set a target of winning more than 400 seats. The BJP has so far announced candidates for 24 seats, while the Shiv Sena has announced eight candidates. The NCP has formally announced candidates for only two seats, which include Baramati and Raigad Lok Sabha.
