ROHTAS POLICE ARREST MUKHIA AND HIS AIDE
Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, arrested Mukhia Nauwa panchayat of Dinara block, Ramakant Sah and his associate Baban Sah of Usrao village in connection with murder of Mahendra Sah when he was going to his native village Daidahan under Bhanas police outpost from Kochas two days ago.
Sasaram, 24 November 2022, (RNI): Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, arrested Mukhia Nauwa panchayat of Dinara block, Ramakant Sah and his associate Baban Sah of Usrao village in connection with murder of Mahendra Sah when he was going to his native village Daidahan under Bhanas police outpost from Kochas two days ago. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bhanas OP against the Mukhia Ramakant Sah, Bijay Sah, Lalloo Sah, Baban Sah and a driver on the statement of the deceased’s son Pradeep Kumar Gupta. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest named accused.
Quoting the FIR, the SHO Bhanas OP Upendra Narayan Yadav said that Mahendra Sah was going to his native village Daidahan village from Kochans on his motorcycle when the named accused on two motorcycles waylaid and intercepted and pumped bullets into his body near Pandey Baba Mor at Majhauli gate on November 19, 2022 and escaped from the scene. Later Mahendra Sah succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. The miscreants had already threatened Mahendra Sah with dire consequences.
