New Delhi, February 11, 2024 (RNI): Ram Temple cannot become an election issue in the next Lok Sabha elections, because elections have already been fought on this issue under the leadership of Lal Krishna Advani and BJP has secured two to 80 seats.
This was said by the country's well-known educationist, Prof. Yogesh Kumar during an interview. Yesterday, on the last day of the 17th Lok Sabha, the construction of Ram temple was heated up by the ruling party. It is believed that BJP will cash in on the construction of Ram temple in the elections.
Pro. Kumar said that in all the general elections held in this country, till now there has been only one effective issue. The election of the year 1971 was fought in the name of 'Garibi Hatao'. Similarly, 'Remove Indira' in 1977, 'Vote for work' in 1980. In 1984, national unity and integrity, 1989 Bofors, 2014 elections were fought in the name of eradicating corruption and bringing Modi.
These election issues are decided 10-15 days before the start of voting and that issue decides the direction and condition of the country. Therefore, it is difficult to tell from now that what will be the main issue of this elections, he said.
The party that will guarantee to fulfill the aspirations of the youth, solve the problems of farmers, expand trade, provide advanced medical facilities and provide employment to the youth, will be in a better position, because these are the burning issues of today, he added.
When asked about the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that Modi ji has a deep hold on the entire system. Till date no other Prime Minister had such a hold and that's why he is successful. His team is exceptionally good & that they are visible ahead in the race again this time.
When asked about the visit of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Mr. Kumar said that this is not the time for his padyatra but to implement his election strategies in Delhi. L.S.
