Prevent children from bathing in pond/pool/river:- District Magistrate

Hardoi( RNI)District Magistrate Mangala Prasad Singh said that cases of loss of life due to drowning in ponds/rivers are coming to notice. In such a situation, parents should stop their children from bathing in ponds/rivers. If children are near water, then parents should keep them under their supervision. So that unpleasant incidents can be avoided. He appealed to the people of the district not to ride on dilapidated/broken boats. Also see that the boat is clean and dry during operation. Do not let small children travel alone on a boat. While traveling in a boat, also see what is the carrying capacity of the boat and whether there is a life jacket on the boat or not. He said that no person should enter the river/pond/pond after consuming intoxicants. Do not try to go beyond the protective mark made in the water. Listen to the instructions of the security team present at the ghat and follow them. He said that do not play any kind of game in water. If you do not know how to swim, stay away from the river or other water sources. Do not enter too deep water. Do not try to jump from one boat to another and do not try to take selfies in water. He said that if a person is drowning in water, then first of all the people present nearby should help him and call the ambulance. If the person is not breathing, then check his pulse and give him CPR. Take the patient to the nearest hospital immediately. He said that the person drowning in water should not panic, stay calm, keep his head upwards, remove heavy things like bags and shoes. Keep pushing the water backwards  so that you can remain stable. Keep throwing water upwards with the help of hands so that people can see you and help you.
