POLICE RECOVER TWO TEENAGE SISTERS

Ara, 25 November 2022, (RNI): Bhojpur police recovered two teenage sisters from near Buxar railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur and arrested one person in this regard. The arrested person was identified as Mithilesh Yadav of Sipahi village in Buxar district. A named FIR was lodged with the police and the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Sanjay Kumar Singh said that two teenage sisters of Saraiya village under Shahpur police station had gone to the market on November 12, 2022 at about midday but they did not return. Their father lodged an FIR of kidnapping with the police under Shahpur police station against Mithilesh Yadav of Buxar district. Mithilesh Yadav was blamed with threatening them with dire consequences on mobile. The SP further said that he formed a police team and following mobile surveillance and technical research, the police started conducting raids to recover the girls and recovered them from near Buxar railway station and arrested Mithilesh Yadav. He said that Mithilesh Yadav’s brother was married at Saraiya village under Shahpur police station and so he frequently visited the village. Meanwhile, she fell in love with a girl and one day he fled away with his beloved and her sister. The SP that the police are investigating on the angle as the incident might took place for human trafficking.
