POLICE ARREST AN AWARD OF Rs. 2500

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a dreaded miscreant who bore an award of Rs. 2500 on his head from Pawar village under the Pawana police station in Bhojpur district and sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreant was identified as Bhim Yadav of Pawar village under Pawana police station.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that he got information that a dreaded criminal and an awardee of Rs. 2500 on his head, Bhim Yadav had come to his native village at Pawar under Pawana police station with a view to commit some crime. He at once formed a police team under the SHO Pawana police station Suresh Singh that conducted raid at Pawar village and arrested Bim Yadav. The ASP further said that several criminal cases including murder, extortion and also under SC/ST Act are pending against him and he was absconding for several months.
