Among the distinguished recipients, leading pharmaceutical company Granules India Limited, headquartered in Hyderabad, clinched the prestigious Gold Award in the Telangana State Energy Conservation Award 2023.
Representatives from Granules India Limited, Bangaru Babu Bhagavatula (GM Engg. & Projects) and Chelluri Venkateswara Rao (AGM Electrical), received the awards from Chandan Mitra. The company's noteworthy achievement includes the avoidance of 27.48 lakh units of electricity power consumption and associated carbon emissions.
Company representatives expressed their gratitude, attributing this remarkable accomplishment to the visionary leadership of Granules Company CMD, Dr Chigurupati Krishna Prasad, who prioritized the development of environmentally friendly products.
