Mourning across the country on the death of Harishankar Tiwari

New Delhi/Gorakhpur, May 17, 2023 (RNI): People across the country have mourned the death of Pt. Harishankar Tiwari, former minister of Uttar Pradesh and a prominent leader of Brahmin community.

Founder President of Brahmin Lok Sangathan and famous social worker Arvind Pathak has expressed deep condolence on the death of Mr. Tiwari and said that he was the leader of the society. He remained alert throughout his life to protect the existence of his society.

He had a very intimate relationship with Mr. Tiwari .Whenever he used to come to Delhi, he used to stay with him for hours. He had a family relationship with him. May his soul rest in peace, said Mr. Pathak.

Expressing condolence on the death of Mr. Tiwari, the leader of Brahmin community in Rajasthan and senior journalist Dr. Surendra Sharma said that he should be continuously associated with the upliftment of the society. He prayed to God to give peace to his soul.

International coordinator of All India Mithila State Sangharsh Samiti, Prof. Amarendra Jha has said in his message that Mr. Tiwari was associated with the upliftment of the society till the last moment. L. S.
