MISCREANTS THREATENS FORMER WARD COUNCILOR FOR WITHDRAWING FIR

Ara, 19 November 2022, (RNI): Some unidentified miscreants entered the nursing home of Dr K N Sinha and threatened the district secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party cum outgoing Ward Councilor Renu Devi and dictated her to sign on a paper saying all expenditure of her husband’s treatment would be remitted. When she denied, they pressurized her with dire consequences.

Renu Devi had filed an FIR with the police under Nawada police station against th former Mayor Sunil Yadav, his wife and former Mayor Priyam and Ashok Yadav under the SC/ST Act. After institution of FIR she was living under constant fear as she was continuously pressurized to withdraw the case. She had come to the nursing of Dr K N Sinha for the treatment of her husband Chhathu Razak when some unidentified miscreants entered the nursing home and asked her to sign on a paper and when she denied, they threatened her with dire consequences saying they would stay there till she sign the paper. She informed the former Ward Councilor cum Advocate Amrendra Kumar who advised her to get the paper read by someone. Then Renu Devi got the paper read by her relative Dharmendra Kumar and knew all about the case filed under Nawada Police Station. Amrendra Kumar informed the Bhojpur SP, SDPO and the SHO, Nawada police station about the incident and said to get the miscreants identified with the CCTV footage in the clinic and provide security to Renu Devi and her family members. He further said if any untoward incident happened with Renu Devi, her family members and any of the witness, all the named accused and the officials of the district administration would be responsible.
