Meeting with Nitin Gadkari regarding the demand for separate Mithila state
New Delhi, (RNI) A group of Mithila residents met senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and submitted a memorandum demanding a separate Mithila state, today.
If the state government sends a proposal to this effect, it will be considered , said Mr. Gadkari. This information was given by BJP leader Kaushal Pathak, who is leading the team, and Prof. Amarendra Jha, international coordinator of All India Mithila State Struggle Committee. This team included Pandit Sanjeev Yogi, Ravindra Mishra, Madan Jha, film actor Anjani, Sajan Jha, Prof. Kanhaiya ji Sujit Mishra etc.
Overall development of Mithila is possible only with the creation of a separate Mithila state, said Mr. Pathak. LS.
