Many ambitious schemes for minorities in the country : Rijiju

New Delhi (RNI)  Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that many ambitious schemes are going on for the development of minorities in the country and people are getting benefits from it on a large scale.

Mr. Rijiju was addressing the participants after inaugurating the Lok Samvardhan Parv organized at Delhi Haat in the capital yesterday evening. On this occasion, Secretary of Minority Ministry K. R. Srinivas, Chairman of National Minority Commission Iqbal Singh Lalpura and CMD of National Minority Development and Finance Corporation Dr. Abha Singh were present.

Union Minister Mr. Rijiju said that the Narendra Modi government, ruling for the third time at the Center, is engaged in completing the work of continuous development to achieve the goal of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and in the next 25 years we will be the most developed nation in the world.

He said that we believe in work, not in publicity, but people should be aware of the work that is being done. The minister claimed that the maximum work in the world is being done in India in the case of minorities, yet people are making noise. This is a matter of sadness and shame.

In his address, the CMD of the Corporation, Dr. Singh, gave detailed information about the objective of this program and various schemes. She said that in the year 2024-24, there is a plan to provide loan facility of more than 1 thousand crores by NMDFC to more than 2.5 lakh people.

On this occasion, Mr. Rijiju also released a coffee table book on the schemes and achievements of the Ministry of Minority Affairs and MoUs were signed between MMDFC and various banks.

During the Lok Sanvardhan Parv, which will run till the end of this month, the schemes and achievements of the Ministry of Minority Affairs are also being displayed through poster exhibition. L.S.
