MAIN ACCUSED IN MURDER OF AN ADVOVATE SURREDNERS IN COURT

Ara, 21 November 2022, (RNI): Amar, main accused in the murder of an advocate cum businessman, Dr Hari Ji Gupta, surrendered in the Ara Civil Court. Later he was sent to jail under judicial custody.

Bhojpur SP Sanjay Kumar confirmed his surrender and said that the police would interrogate Amar and also arrest the two absconding miscreants Bawooa and Raju very soon. Police are conducting raids at all probable places. Police had laid trap to arrest Amar but failed and Amar succeeded in surrendering in the court.

Some miscreants had kidnaped and killed an advocate cum businessman, Dr Hari Jee Gupta when he had gone to his market at Baluaahi locality under Ara town police station on November 2, 2022 and threw the body in a gunny bag under a bridge at Ranisagar in Buxar district. The police recovered the body with the help of mobile surveillance and arrested two persons earlier. The SP said that Amar, Bawooa and Raju were absconding since the incident. Meanwhile, under the mounting pressure, Amar surrendered in the court while the police are conducting raids to arrest two others.
