LOVER LYNCHED, BELOVED AND HER IN-LAWS INCLUDING THE HUSBAND ARRESTED

Ara, 15 November 2022, (RNI): One youth was lynched with traditional weapons at Sohara village under Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district in the night on November 14, 2022 when he had gone there to meet his married beloved. The deceased was identified as Chandan Tiwari 25 son of Shiv Ji Tiwari of Dhamwal village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district. The police arrested the beloved Ruby Devi, her husband Raju Paswan, father-in-law Bir Bahadur Singh and the brother-in-law (devar) Suchit Kumar. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory from Patna has been requisitioned. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.

SHO Krishnagarh police station Arvind Kumar said that Ruby Kumari of Dhamwal village under Shahpur police station was married to Raju Paswan of Sohara village under Krishnagarh police station in the year 2018. Chandan Tiwari of Dhamwal village had a love affair with Ruby Devi before her marriage but both continued their relation even after the marriage. On November 14, 2022 night, Chandan Tiwari went to Sohara village to meet Ruby Devi and hid himself in a room of her house. The family members of the girl caught him and lynched after tying him to a poll. On information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and also arrested the husband, father-in-law, brother-in-law and the beloved.
