Letter to the Prime Minister regarding the right to housing

New Delhi, 30 January 2023: Bharatiya Gaurav Sangh has started a campaign to write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the right to housing.

The campaign started from Rajghat Bela Basti in New Delhi. On this occasion hundreds of people were present along with National President of Bhartiya Gaurav Sangh Kanhaiyalal Rathore, National General Secretary Jitendra Atri, National Youth President Mohammad Aman Khan, Secretary Nasir Mirza and local resident Heeralal.

Talking to the public on this occasion, Mr. Rathore said that Mr. Modi should give a pucca house to every slum dweller of Delhi under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The important thing here is that the people of Bela Basti near Raj Ghat have been living in slums here for almost 100 years and have been sitting on dharna for the last one year to convey their message to the government.

According to Mr. Rathore, about 10 lakh letters are being written on behalf of the slum dwellers to the Prime Minister under this campaign.
