Bengaluru, April 25, 2023 (RNI): After the withdrawal of nomination papers for the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections, the campaign is now slowly gaining momentum.
Polling for the 224-member Legislative Assembly in Karnataka will be held on May 10 and the results will be declared on May 13. The last date for filing nominations was April 20.
BJP, Congress and JDS are mainly active in the state in different election fields. Now the candidates have started campaigning after the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers passed yesterday.
On the other hand, big leaders of BJP, Congress and JDS are holding big meetings every day. However, the election atmosphere is still not visible on the streets. Hoardings and posters are also missing in the capital.
However, supporters have started making claims. BJP supporters are claiming to return to power, so Congress has full hope of overturning the power. JDS supporters are hopeful that the government will be formed only with their support. L. S.
