JITM has now taken up the task of eradicating TB, after Corona

Ranchi, 18 February 2023. During the Corona crisis, the organization JITM, which has grabbed headlines for public service in remote areas of Jharkhand including the country's capital Delhi, has now taken up the task of eradicating TB in the state.

This organization also encourages youth and women to become self-reliant through various programs in the field of art, Sanskrit and skill development and thousands of needy people are taking advantage of it. Many have got employment opportunities in foreign countries.

Jharkhand, apart from the tribal-dominated province, is known as an air-polluted area due to coal mines in most of the areas and according to a figure, 137 people out of one lakh people are suffering from TB here. In the capital Ranchi alone, about seven and a half thousand patients are suffering from TB.

For this reason, the state government has taken up the task of eradicating TB and its responsibility has been entrusted to JITM, an organization working better in remote areas of Jharkhand including the country's capital Delhi during the Corona period.

Soon after the announcement of the lockdown in the year 2020, when lakhs of people had reached the borders of Delhi to go to their homes, the head of this organization along with his team force got involved in the service of the people. They were given fruits, medicines and food. There were headlines in the media regarding this that time.

Later, many mobile vehicles were installed by this organization for corona testing, so that lakhs of people could get the facility of testing. Many workers of the organization engaged in this work also suffered from corona.

A top official of JITM told that our organization is going to do better work in difficult circumstances. We are determined to eradicate TB in Jharkhand. The cooperation of the government and top officials will definitely bring results in this direction.

He has said that the Jharkhand government has entrusted the task of testing TB patients in the state. We will also do it. A complete plan has been prepared for this. Our aim was to achieve the target even in the time of Corona crisis and we have been successful.
