JEWELRIES WORTH ABOUT Rs. 25 LAKH LOOTED
Some unidentified armed miscreants looted jewelries worth about Rs. 25 lakh from a jeweler near Manoharpur under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. An FIR was lodged with the police under Rajpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Ara, 5 December 2022, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants looted jewelries worth about Rs. 25 lakh from a jeweler near Manoharpur under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. An FIR was lodged with the police under Rajpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that Pintu Seth and his father Prem Shankar Seth of Manoharpur village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district ran two jewelry shops at Tier Bazaar. Both were returning home on motorcycle after closing their shops when four unidentified armed miscreants on two motorcycles intercepted near Dak Bungalow at Manoharpur under Rajpur police station and looted jewelries and other items at pistol point. Miscreants on one motorcycle escaped towards Harpur while miscreants on other motorcycle towards Jamauli via canal road. Prem Shankar Sharma at once informed the Rajpur police station. On information the SHO Rajpur police station Yusuf Ansari along with police force rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. Buxar police sealed all the entry and exit points and are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
