Indian Popular Face: ...Sant Chaudhary created history in the field of education in the name of Shankara Group!

Madhubani, 17th April 2023 (RNI): It is said that if there is a desire to separate, then difficulties do not come in the way. Something similar happened with Dr. Sant Kumar Chaudhary, born in a farmer's family in the border area connected with Nepal, who has made his mark in Mithila. He created history by establishing educational institutions in the name of Shankara Group.

In the name of Shankaracharya Jagat Guru of Kanchipuram, not only started a series of engineering and professional institutions, but by opening Shankar Netralaya in Madhubani, he has also worked to provide eye care to many needy people.

Dr. Choudhary was born on January 5, 1959, as the son of late Bhagwan Choudhary and late Mrs. Bedmati Choudhary, resident of Basaith Chainpura in Madhubani district. The names of his three other brothers are Ashok Choudhary, late Ravindra Choudhary and Arvind Choudhary. He was married to Chhaya Chaudhary, a devout woman, on 29 June 1979. They have two children, Rahul and Sweta.

Dr.Chaudhary, after receiving primary and secondary education from his village Basith Chainpura in Madhubani district, after doing BSc from CM Science College Darbhanga, moved to Delhi in the year 1979 for higher education.

Meanwhile, in the year 1982, he got a job in the National Sugar Federation. At that time, this organization was dominated by Maharashtra's veteran leader and the then Chief Minister Basant Dada Patil. He became close to Dada through his work and Dada kept him with him. In this sequence, Dr. Chaudhary was also Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Officer on Special Duty to the Governor of Rajasthan.

Even after the demise of Dr. Choudhary Basant Dada, he was associated with his MP son Prakash Patil. But Mr. Choudhary was not going to stop here. He established a trust in the year 1993 and turned towards education and society.

Dr.Chaudhary says that he got the inspiration to work in the field of education, health and agriculture from his grandfather. He used to think of furthering his work since childhood. Apart from this, many professional colleges were established. Hospitals were opened. Krishi Vigyan Kendra was established.

In the present times special attention needs to be given to the education, health and agriculture sectors. There is a need to strengthen these three sectors for the Indian society. Without this we cannot become a world guru. The work is going on continuously. It needs to be given more priority , he said . L.S.
