If There is an India-Pakistan War, Pakistan Will Be Finished: Tiwari

New Delhi (RNI) Renowned economist and Chartered Accountant Sanjay Kumar Tiwari has stated that in the event of a war between India and Pakistan, Pakistan could be wiped off the world map due to its weak economic condition and internal instability.
Mr. Tiwari, associated with Sanjay Savran & Company, made this remark in response to the rising tensions between the two countries following the brutal killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam on 22 April. He condemned the attack, calling it an act of cowardice, and extended his condolences to the families of the victims.
Mr. Tiwari, who had contested the last Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate from the prestigious Banaras constituency, emphasized that if war breaks out, Pakistan—already battling poverty and instability—will face complete devastation, whereas India’s developmental progress could suffer setbacks.
He added that India has made substantial investments in various sectors, and the returns are still awaited. In contrast, Pakistan, already burdened with debt and internal issues, has nothing to lose. He also noted that India is dealing with external economic challenges, including tariff pressures from the U.S., particularly under former President Donald Trump’s trade policies.
Mr. Tiwari further said that the ongoing wars involving Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas have triggered a global economic slowdown, affecting even the United States. Amidst this global unrest, China is expanding its trade influence and is strategically supporting Pakistan in the Balochistan region to protect its geopolitical interests.
