FIVE LINERS ARRESTED IN MURDER OF AN ADVOCATE

Ara, 21 November 2022, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested five liners in connection with murder of Vikki Singh son of former Ward Councilor, Mahendra Singh and different police teams are conducting raids at different states for arrested the sharp shooters after their identification. Police also recovered a motorcycle used in the murder. The arrested liners were identified as Md Akhat Hussain son of Md Samim of Bhaluhipur locality, Md Mustafa of Chiktoli locality, Md Adil son of Md Yasim, Md Irfan son of Md Wasim and Md Amir son of Md Mukhtar of Dharahara locality under Ara town police station. Land dispute was said to be the cause behind the incident.

Bhojpur SP Sanjay Kumar Singh said that some armed miscreants had shot dead Shashikant Singh alias Vikki Singh son of former Ward Councilor, Mahendra Singh near Dharahara petrol pump under Ara town police station on November 11, 2022 when he was returning home from his field at Giddha under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Two police teams were formed under the ASP Himsnahu. During investigation it came to light that sharpshooters had committed the crime with the help of five liners. The police arrested five liners. The SP stated that the names of sharpshooters would be revealed very soon.

The SP stated that the police, on tip off, recovered an unclaimed motorcycle registered in the name of Md Akhtar of Bhaluhipur, from Bakhorapur village and arrested Md Akhtar after it was confirmed that he was present at Dharahara at the time of incident. After his arrest, the mystery of murder revealed step by step. The SP further said that contact for murder was given to the son of an inmate of Ara jail.
