New Delhi (RNI) The atmosphere is gradually heating up regarding the assembly elections being held in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously holding election rallies on behalf of the ruling BJP at the Center. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge have taken charge of the campaign on behalf of the main opposition party Congress.

The nomination process in Haryana has been completed. Names can be withdrawn till September 16. Elections are being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the withdrawal of Article 370. Voting will be held here in three phases on 18 and 25 September and 1 October. Both the states have 90-90 seats.

Well known educationist and former professor of Physics at Delhi University Yogesh Kumar says that elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir after 10 years, but this is the first election after the withdrawal of Article 370. The result may be in favour of anyone, but the elections being held in a peaceful environment with new enthusiasm is a good sign.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves congratulations for this. Now the government elected there will work for the welfare of the people. Now the tenure of the government there will also be 5 years like other states of the country. Earlier it used to be 6 years.

Well known social worker and the bearer of many mass movements in the country Arvind Pathak says that no matter who forms the government, elections should be held in a healthy environment. In response to a question, he said that there is a fixed time for everything. Change is the law of nature. It is true that BJP is not in the situation it was in 2014 and 19.
