DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED, HEROIN SEIZED

Ara, 25 November 2022, (RNI): Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a drug peddler and recovered 112.96 gram of heroin. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Bikas Kumar Pandey of Deul village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station in this regard under the NDPC Act. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Sanjay Kumar Singh said that he got information that a person was waiting near Baligaon Canal with the heroin. He at once directed the Jagdishpur police that conducted raid and arrested the drug peddler with the heroin. He said that Sahar and Nawada police stations police were searching for Bikas Kumar Pandey as cases were pending against him in both the police stations.
