Dr Sravan trashed the baseless allegations made by Kishan against KCR Govt with facts and figures
Hyderabad, July 22: BRS senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan chastised Union Minister and Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy for turning a blind eye towards the unprecedented development of Telangana under CM K Chandrashekar Rao's leadership. Likening Kishan Reddy to Kumbhakarna, Dr Dasoju Sravan censured Kishan Reddy, who is the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region, for indulging in cheap politics in Telangana, while Manipur is burning.
Coming down heavily on BJP Telangana chief Kishan Reddy for mudslinging on CM KCR's Sarkar, Dr Dasoju Sravan said, BJP does not have any moral right to speak on BRS rule. Dr Sravan trashed the baseless allegations made by Kishan Reddy in an open letter against KCR Govt, with facts and figures, at a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday.
"It is extremely concerning that Telangana BJP president Kishan Reddy, who is also the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region is indulging in cheap politics in Telangana, while Manipur is burning. Whole nation is worried about the violence, strife between communities, attacks and sexual abuse of women in Manipur, but Kishan Reddy is busy enacting cheap political dramas in Telangana. Instead of attending to Manipur, which needs urgent and utmost attention, Kishan Reddy has written an open letter against KCR Sarkar, with baseless allegations. It seems, like in case of Manipur, Kishan Reddy is in deep slumber like Kumbhakarna even in case of the unprecedented development achieved by Telangana under KCR's rule over the past nine years," said Dr Dasoju Sravan, firing on Kishan Reddy.
"People belonging to all sections are living happily and prosperously in Telangana under KCR's rule. Both development and welfare are being balanced perfectly. While area under cultivation was 1.30 lakh acres in 2014, it rose to 2.20 lakh acres in 2023. KCR has brought farmers out of poverty and empowered them with Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema schemes and procurement of agriculture produce at MSP. Podu land Pattas have been given to 1,51,146 tribal farmers by distributing 4,06,369 acres. All this was possible due to KCR's humane and able governance and not because of PM Modi or BJP. But it is unfortunate that Kishan Reddy is unable to see this visible transformation in Telangana farmers' lives," explained Dr Dasoju Sravan condemning Kishan Reddy.
"While Telangana is the largest producer of paddy, Modi Sarkar has put an export ban on paddy. Modi Sarkar failed to implement MS Swaminathan Committee's reports and offer MSP to agriculture produce. In fact Modi Sarkar has even fired on farmers protesting against the draconian farm laws. Kishan Reddy has no guts to question these anti-farmer steps by his boss PM Modi but indulging in cheap politics by ignoring the farmer-friendly initiatives of KCR Sarkar," lambasted Dr Dasoju Sravan.
Terming Kishan Reddy's recent protest on the double bedroom homes as a drama, Dr Sravan questioned,"KCR Has promised to deliver double bedroom homes and like all his promises he is determined to fulfil it. All the double bedroom homes constructed in Telangana till now are funded by KCR Sarkar and Centre has not given at least one rupee. Already one lakh homes are being distributed with an outlay of Rs 8 lakh per each home. With what face is Kishan Reddy raising the issue of the double bedroom issue in Telangana? BJP Government has given the contract of developing the Dharavi slum in Mumbai to PM Modi's friend Adani. Why can't Kishan Reddy take the same initiative of developing slums like Addagutta. Parsigutta in Hyderabad?"
"Not just in case of double bedroom homes or paddy procurement, Modi Srakar has not given any support to Telangana in any issue. Modi Sarkar has betrayed Telangana on the ITIR project, Kazipet Coach Factory, Metro Rail Extension, Kaleshwaram project and turned all the requests of Telangana government for funds. But Kishan Reddy is trying to mislead Telangana people with fake allegations," underlined Dr Dasoju Sravan.
"While CM KCR is giving Rs 2000 old age pension, in the so-called rich state of PM Modi Rs 750 is being distributed as pension. In BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh it is just Rs 600. While PM Modi failed to create 2 crore jobs per year, as he had promised, KCR Sarkar created 20 lakh jobs in the private sector and filled up 1.30 lakh government jobs. KCR has been empowering both SCs and BCs through his schemes. PM Modi has been failing to even conduct caste census. There is absolutely no comparison between the PM Modi government and CM KCR's rule. To hide PM Modi Sarkar's failures Telangana BJP is tring to create communal unrest in peaceful Telangana through movies like Razakar files," signed off Dr Dasoju Sravan, stressing that Telangana people will teach a lesson to BJP, if they indulge in such crooked politics.
