Dasoju wrote open letter to AICC chief, also urged NHRC, to take immediate action on foul-mouthed Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, July 18: BRS senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan censured TPCC president and MP Revanth Reddy for brazenly humiliating and using abusive language towards transgender community and BC sections of society such as Pichukuntla, Dommara, Yadava, Vamsharaj, Gouda, Munnuru Kapu and other communities. Saying that Revanth Reddy has been repeatedly insulting underprivileged and disadvantaged sections, Dr Dasoju Sravan questioned Congress national chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress scion Rahul Gandhi as to why AICC leadership is mute on Revanth's brazen misconduct and derogatory behaviour.

Stressing that Revanth Reddy has been severely hurting the sentiments of transgenders and OBC communities, Dr Sravan said that Congress party will have to pay a heavy price for TPCC's chief misconduct. Dr Sravan urged National Human Rights Commission, Telangana State Human Rights Commission, National OBC Commission to take action on TPCC chief and ensure safety and justice for transgenders and OBCs.   

"Congress party claims itself as running on Gandhian principles. But its Telangana chief Revanth Reddy brazenly indulges in intimidation, uses filthy abuses and derogatory language to insult, humiliate, and hurt the people of Telangana. He has been repeatedly humiliating transgender Community and OBCs communities like Dommara, Yadava, Pichukuntla, Vamshurajulu and others using extremely abusive language against them as part of his threatening and abusive politics. What's shocking is why AICC leadership is silent on Revanth's disgusting conduct? Why Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi silent? Is this is what 125-year-old Congress stands for?" questioned Dr Dasoju Sravan after dashing off an open letter to AICC leadership on TPCC chief's misbehaviour and undemocratic style of functioning.     

"On the one hand, Congress proudly claims to have appointed a transgender woman, Apsara Reddy, as Secretary of Mahila Wing and presents their party as an inclusive one. But its foul-mouthed TPCC President is allowed to indulge in dragging transgenders of Telangana into his political discourses and abuse them, causing insult, humiliation, and mental agony. Revanth Reddy uses extremely unacceptable language against even septuagenarian CM KCR, who has braved his life for Telangana. Is this the way a leader conducts himself in a democracy? Revanth has no control over his foul mouth and insults everybody, disregarding their age, position, or gender sensitivity. He has no decency or social decorum, and he is a disgrace to Telangana politics. Has AICC leadership given any special permission for Revanth Reddy to abusive language and threaten anyone and everyone?" expressed Dr Dasoju Sravan raising severe objection over Telangana Congress chief's misconduct.  

"In the state of Telangana, under the KCR's rule, there is utmost respect and honor for every section of society, and there is no discrimination in the name of gender, caste, creed, or religion. Our Chief Minister has honored the transgender community by appointing two of them, i.e., Prachi Rathore and Ruth Jhon Paul Koyyala, as doctors at the state-run Osmania General Hospital. At a time when BRS Govt is making all-out efforts to increase the pride and stature of transgender community and striving for inclusivity, the behaviour of TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is spoiling these noble efforts and causing severe agony to these disadvantaged section," reasoned Dr Sravan.   

"It is not the first time Revanth has committed this crime of insulting the transgender community and backward classes. He did it many times, even before. Why does the AICC not recognize that he became a vulture destroying political culture? Or is it the new norm of the Indian National Congress to abuse the opposition with filthy language and humiliate everyone else for the sake of petty politics? What is the dubious nexus between Revanth Reddy and AICC leadership? Why is he allowed to make brazen and derogatory comments against anybody and be scot-free, when Congress scion Rahul Gandhi himself was disqualified for his comments on 'Modi' community?" questioned Dr Sravan
