DAILY WAGE EARNER CRUSHED TO DEATH
One labour was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Kolharampur Bazaar under Badahara police station on Koelwar-Chhapara main road in Bhojpur district in the morning when he was going to market on his motorcycle to buy fertilizer.
Ara, 25 December 2022, (RNI): One labour was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Kolharampur Bazaar under Badahara police station on Koelwar-Chhapara main road in Bhojpur district in the morning when he was going to market on his motorcycle to buy fertilizer. The deceased was identified as Heera Paswan 45 son of late Vishes Paswan of Chatar village. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Badahara police station Jayant Kumar said that Heera Paswan was a daily wage earner. He was going to the market on his motorcycle to buy fertilizer. When he reached near Kolharampur Bazaar under Badahara police station, a speeding truck from Koelwar collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Heera Paswan on spot. Irate villagers blocked the road near Kolharampur with the body and paralyzed movement of vehicle for about four hours. They burnt tyres on road and demanded arrest of the truck driver, compensation for the family of the deceased and government job to the next kin of the deceased. The blockade could be lifted after the positive response of the Block Development Officer (BDO) Vijay Kumar Mishra and the police could bring the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
