Corporate Colleges in Telangana had turned out to be ATM Centres for KCR : Garlapati
Hyderabad: Feb 16:: Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana state unit senior leader , Nalgonda parliamentary contested MP , Khammam Prabari Garlapati Jitender Kumar on Thursday alleged that in his Media Statement corporate colleges like Sri Chaitanya had been looting the students and parents, taking advantage of the support being extended by Bharat Rashtra Samithi government led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Garlapati was stating to in his Media Statement after calling on Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Medchal district president Pavan who was injured in brutal police lathicharge and undergoing treatment at a private hospital at Boduppal.
The BJP leader Garlapati said Pavan was leading an agitation by the BJYM workers demanding judicial inquiry into the alleged suspicious death of an Intermediate first year girl student of Sri Chaitanya College. “The college management, which has the backing of the ruling BRS, got them lathi-charged by the police indiscriminately, leading to serious injuries to Pavan,” Garlapati said.
He alleged that the corporate colleges in Telangana had turned out to be ATM Centres for KCR and his family members. “With the support of the chief minister and his family, these colleges have been fleecing the students with huge fees and harassing them,” he said.
Stating that the BJP would continue to fight till these corporate colleges were reined in, Jitender Kumar said.
If the BJP is voted to power, it would develop the infrastructure which will be available for any student in Telangana. The BRS is backing them institutions which are fleecing the parents and students.
He wondered why the government was hesitating to order a judicial probe into the suspicious death of the girl student and what mistake Pavan had committed. He alleged that the police were foisting false cases against Pavan for questioning the college management. “Such cases and attacks would not demoralise the BJP leaders,” he asserted.
