CONTRACTOR SHOT DEAD

Ara, 11 November 2022, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a contractor at Dhanupura locality under Ara town police station today. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Shashi Kumar Singh alias Shashi Kant Singh 42 son of Mahendra Singh former councilor. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest miscreants. Senior police officials also rushed to the spot.

SHO Ara town police station said that Shashi Kumar Singh, contractor, of Kanakpuri locality near Jail College gate under Nawada police station was going somewhere on his bullet motorcycle when some unidentified armed miscreants pumped 7 bullets into his body from point blank range and escaped. He succumbed to his injuries on spot. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
