Congress govt betraying the farmers in name of committees: BJP Kisan Morcha

Hyderabad (RNI) BJP Kisan Morcha state unit president Kondapally Sridhar Reddy has accused the Congress government of betraying the farmers by wasting time in the name of opinions and sub-committees without implementing the promised to the farmers during the eight months ago held assembly elections.  Under the leadership of BJP Kisan Morcha across Telangana, the promises given by the Congress government to the farmers in its manifesto, two lakh rupees agricultural loan waiver including Kharif Rabi, 15 thousand rupees per acre under Rythu Bharosa, 15 thousand rupees for tenant farmers, 12 thousand rupees for agricultural laborers, and demanding the implementation of a comprehensive crop insurance scheme on the 8th and 9th of this month.  BJP Kisan Morcha submitted memorandums in all the tahsildar offices under the Morcha and in front of all the District Collector offices with the same demands, Sridhar Reddy who participated in the Farmer Satyagraha held in front of the Khammam infront of the District Collector office and District Kisan Morcha with the same demands, said to the farmers that the Congress government has been in power for 200 days.  Sridhar Reddy alleged that this government is keeping  farmers in trouble by not providing investment assistance under the Rythu Bharosa, which has been 40 days since the beginning of the kharif season, which has not implemented the electoral promise. 

Kisan morcha accused Revanth the government deceiving the farmers by wasting time in the name of committees, saying that the farm loan waiver of two lakhs will be implemented on December 9, Sonia Gandhi's birthday.  Sridhar Reddy has warned the government that the BJP Kisan Morcha will not keep quite until all the promises fulfill made to the farmers and the movement on behalf of the farmers will be intensified.
