Change in thinking is require for development of Bihar: Arvind Pathak

Darbhanga, 16 June 2023, (RNI): Famous social worker Arvind Pathak said that there is a need to change the thinking of people for the development of Bihar, today. 

He said that the biggest irony of this province is that people here vote on the basis of caste and religion instead of collective interest, then where is the matter of overall development left ? Mr. Pathak said this during an interview here.

Mr. Pathak, who was the carrier of many national movements, said that these two things have been effective here since independence. This is the reason why Bihar, despite being a talented and proud state, is a sick state. It has become the biggest labor exporting state, which is very painful.

When asked about the initiative being taken in this direction by election strategist Prashant Kishor, Mr. Pathak said that this effort is fine, but change is impossible until people rise above the politics of caste and religion and vote. They are capable of doing it. They should take initiative in this direction. Only then they will be able to succeed in their mission.

When asked what he should do for this? Mr. Pathak said that there are people of all castes and religions who are concerned about the situation in Bihar. Change can be brought about by bringing them on one platform. L.S.
