ALTF RECOVER IMFL
-Anti Liquor Task Force (ALTF) seized 4926 liquor of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 553 cartons and loaded in a truck near Deedkhili under Durgawati police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district and also arrested two liquor smugglers.
Bhabhua, 25 November 2022, (RNI): Anti Liquor Task Force (ALTF) seized 4926 liquor of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 553 cartons and loaded in a truck near Deedkhili under Durgawati police station on NH-2 in Kaimur district and also arrested two liquor smugglers. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as the truck driver Gurendra Singh and the cleaner Gurpreet Singh. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Durgawati police station under the New Excise Act and sent them to jail after interrogation.
SHO Durgawati police station said that ALTF and Durgawati police jointly during vehicle checking drive, intercepted a truck bearing registration No RJ14GF2143 loaded with wheat bran and when searched, the police seized 4926 litre of IMFL packed in 553 cartons and kept under the wheat bran. The police seized the truck and arrested the driver Gurendra Singh and the cleaner Gurpreet Singh. The SHO further said that both the arrested persons confessed during interrogation that they came with the IMFL at the border of Kaimur district and informed the liquor smugglers. Later they took the consignment where the liquor asked them to bring.
