YOUTH SHOT DEAD IN PLEASURE FIRING
In a pleasure firing, a youth was shot dead at Bhadwar village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district during a marriage ceremony.
Ara, 4 May 2023, (RNI): In a pleasure firing, a youth was shot dead at Bhadwar village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district during a marriage ceremony. The deceased was identified as Aryan Kumar 17 son of Anand Jee Rai, a police constable in the CRPF of Bhadwar village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Chandi police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The police also detained some persons for interrogation.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a marriage ceremony was going on in the house of Dharmendra Kumar at Bhadwar village under Chandi police station. A dance programme was organized on the occasion. During the dance programme, some youths started firing in the air and a bullet hit Aryan Kumar and injured him. He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The elder brother of the deceased Abhay Kumar said that he alogn with his younger brother Aryan Kumar had gone to attend a marriage ceremony in the village. After taking meal, Aryan Kumar went to watch dance programme going on behind the house where he received bullet injuries and died.
