YOUTH SHOT DEAD IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA---------------------------------Some armed miscreants shot dead a youth at Nasartpur village under Sandesh police station at about midnight when he was sleeping in the hallway of his house. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Sandesh police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. The deceased was identified as Amit Vikram alias Golu 23 son of Sanjay Kumar Singh of Nusartpur village under Sandesh police station. He was a student of BA Part II. Trivial issue and even the love affair are said to be the causes behind the incident.
SHO Sandesh police station said that Amit Vikram alias Golu was sleeping in the hallway of house after taking meal as ever in the night when some armed miscreants pumped bullet into his head and killed him on spot and escaped from the scene. Next day in the morning the family members found him lying dead in the pool of blood and informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Kundan Kumar, cousin brother of the deceased said that he had some tiff with the children of the villager over plucking of mangoes about week ago. The family members of the children had complained the police and threatened him with dire consequences and at last they killed him.
On the other hand, informed sources said that love affairs might be the cause behind the incident.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the police rushed to the spot immediately after getting the information and recovered a black cartridge and a mobile from the incident site. He further said that a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) from Patna has been requisitioned for the investigation of the incident site under the New Criminal Law. The SP further said that he formed a police team under the SDPO-I Parichay Kumar for the investigation and arrest of the miscreants.
