YOUTH SHOT AT, INJURED

Ara, 4 May 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a youth near Urdu Middle School at Pawana under the same police station in Bhojpur district. The injured was rushed to a private clinic at Ara. Police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The injured was identified as Sagir Alam 18 son of Sharif Mian of Ward No 2 of Pawana. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Pawana police station in this regard.

SHO Pawana police station said that Sagir Alam had gone near the Pawana Urdu Middle School on morning where an armed miscreant sitting. Sagir Alam also sat there. The demanded ganja from him from Sagir Alam but he refused saying that it is mean for some other person. In fraction of second, both embodied into hot discussion and the youth pumped bullet into the body of Sagir Alam and injured him. Later the youth escaped from the scene. Sagir Alam blamed Ankit Kumar of the village for firing.
