YOUTH SHOT AT, INJURED

Ara, 4 February 2023, (RNI): Some unidentified armed miscreants pumped three bullets into the body of a youth near Mission School at Katira under Nawada police station in the evening on February 3, 2023. He was rushed to a private nursing home at Ara where he is struggling for life. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The injured was identified as Babloo Kumar 21 son of late Dayanand Singh of Jokata village under Chandi police station.
Babloo Kumar along with two youths was going to Payhari College at New Police Line on motorcycle to take his brother who was taking Intermediate examination there. As he reached near Mission School at Katira, motorcycle borne three armed miscreants intercepted and pumped three bullets into the body of Babloo Kumar.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Babloo Kumar of Chandi and Dharmendra Yadav of Udwantnagar were close friends but they had a tip over Rs. 5000 in the morning and the family members hushed up the matter. The SP said that Dharmendra Yadav had given Babloo Kumar Rs. 5000 for a work but neither the work was done nor Babloo Kumar returned the money and so Dharmendra Yadav shot at and injured Babloo Kumar.
