YOUTH SHOT AT AND INJURED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

Ara, 18 June 2023, (RNI): One youth was shot at and injured merely for calling his friend ‘Pakaudi’ (wonton) near Sahar Bus Stand under the Sahar police station in Bhojpur district. The miscreants escaped on a motorcycle after the incident. The injured youth was identified as Prince Kumar of Korandiara village under Sahar police station. Later he was admitted to the Sahar Referral Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital after first aid. The family members admitted him to a private nursing home at Ara instead. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Sahar police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Prince Kumar of Korandihara village under Sahar police station had a tiff with a youth of the village Nishant Kumar for needing and calling him ‘Pakaudi’ or Wonton. The youth threatened him with dire consequences. In the afternoon on June 17, 2023, Prince Kumar after having his hair cut in a salon near the Sahar bus stand was going to an eateries to have lunch with his friends when the youth came and after quarreling with him, shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene.
