YOUTH SHOT AT AND INJURED

ARA---------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a youth at Bind Toli under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district in the late evening on December 10, 2023 and escaped. The injured was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition though the family members admitted him to a private nursing home. The injured was identified as Himanshu Kumar Vishwakarma alias Yash 21 son of Bharat Bhushan Vishwakarma of Bind Toli under Ara town police station. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Love marriage is said to be the reason behind the incident.

Himanshu Kumar Vishwakarma said that a family dispute was going on with a youth of his locality Vishal for quite some time. In the evening when he was standing near a water tank at Bind Toli, Vishal along with his two associates came and pumped four bullets into his body and escaped from the scene. Himanshu Kumar Vishwakarma blamed that Kundan Kumar at the behest of Vishal and Mukesh shot at and injured him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that some armed miscreants shot at and injured Himanshu Kumar Vishwakarma of Bind Toli locality under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district and he was admitted to a private nursing home where he was undergoing treatment. The family members blamed three persons for injuring Himanshu Kumar Vishwakarma that arose regarding love marriage of a girl of the family. The SP further said that police are investigating the matter and added that the miscreants were identified and the police are conducting raids to arrest them. He stated that after arrest of the miscreants, the exact reason behind the incident would be ascertained.
