YOUTH SHOT AT, INJURED

ARA-------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a youth at Chasi Village under Narayanpur police station when he was returning after attending call of nature. The injured was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured was identified as Pappu Kumar 28 son of Joginder Singh of Chasi village under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Narayanpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Pappu Kumar said that he worked in a private company in Pune in Maharashtra and had come to his village five days ago. He said that he had gone to the field in the village in the morning to attend call of nature and when he was returning home, some armed miscreants came and pumped bullet into his body and injured him. Later they escaped from the scene.

The SHO Narayanpur police station Rakesh Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter.
