YOUTH RECOVERED

Sasaram, 26 February 2023, (RNI): Rohtas police recovered a youth Om Prakash Kumar from a bus at Shivsagar and brought him to Belvania village under Bhanas police outpost in Rohtas district.

SHO Bhanas police outpost Upendra Narayan Yadav said that Om Prakash Kumar lived with his maternal uncle at Belwania village under Bhanas police outpost. He was kidnapped on February 21, 2023 and his maternal uncle Ashvini Singh lodged an FIR of kidnapping with the police under Bhanas police outpost on February 22, 2023. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and following scientific research and mobile surveillance, the police recovered Om Prakash Kumar from a bus at Shivsagar.

During interrogation, Om Prakash Kumar told the police that he had lend Rs. 5 lakh of his maternal uncle to a person of Kochas but he disappeared from the scene and so he, out of fear of his maternal uncle, switched of the mobile and escaped from the house. He also told the police that he was going to Gujarat.
