ARA--------------------------One youth was killed when two motorcycles collided head-on near Anurag Hotel under Koelwar police station on Koelwar-Doriganj main road in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Nand Kishore Kumar 35 son of Umesh Rai of Chhotaka Chanda village under Koelwar police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sub-Divisional Hospital, Danapur for postmortem. He was a farmer by profession.
Family members of the deceased said that someone were uprooting potato crops in the field and so Nand Kishore Kumar was going to his field at the village on his motorcycle in the afternoon on February 5, 2025 and when he reached near Anurag Hotel on Koelwar-Doriganj main road under Koelwar police station, a speeding motorcycle collided head-on with his motorcycle injuring him badly. The local rushed him to the Primary Health Centre at Koelwar but the doctor referred him to the higher centre. The family members took him to the ESIC at Bihata for better treatment but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment there.
