YOUTH KILLED, ANOTHER INJURED
One youth was killed while his brother was injured when a speeding truck collided with their motorcycle near Chaukipur village under Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Anuj Kumar alias Bholu son of R Duney of Salempur village under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district. Ara (RNI) One youth was killed while his brother was injured when a speeding truck collided with their motorcycle near Chaukipur village under Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Anuj Kumar alias Bholu son of R Duney of Salempur village under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district. After the incident, the family members and the locals became agitated and blocked the Ara-Buxar main road near Chaukipur village with the body of the deceased and paralyzed movement of vehicles for two hours. They were demanding arrest of the driver and compensation for the family of the deceased. The blockade could be lifted after the positive response of the police officer. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
SHO Gajrajganj police station said that Anuj Kumar alias Bholu along with his brother was going on his motorcycle when a speeding truck collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Anuj Kumar alias Bhojpu and also injuring his brother pillion rider.
The agitating people said that despite no entry, all types of vehicles ply on the road with impunity causing accident daily and also claiming lives of people.
