YOUTH DROWNED TO DEATH

Ara, 18 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth floating in the canal near Tapeshwar Singh Indu Mahila College on Ara-Patna bypass under Ara town police station and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Vindhyachal 24 son of Ranjan Kumar of Badaki Khadaw village under Sahar police station but he lived at Rambagh locality near Dharahara under Ara town police station in Ara for the last one decade.

Nitu Devi mother of the deceased said that her son Vindhyachal was a drug addict and was handed over to the police station but he did not mended his way. Once he was landed to the jail along with friend for taking drug and his friends got him bailed out. She stated that on July 10, 2023, he stole money of his grandfather and his father had rebuked him for this. At this he said that he would not live in this house and left the house at about noon not to return. Later the residents of the area informed that he drowned in the canal and died on July 17, 2023. The family members rushed to the area and found his body floating in the canal. They fished out the body and informed the police.
