YOUTH DROWNED IN THE RIVER GANGA WHILE HAVING A BATH

Ara, 29 June 2023, (RNI): One teenage boy drowned in the river Ganga at Ekwana village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Anshuman Pathak 16 son of Chunnu Pathak of Ekwana village.

SHO Badaraha police station said that Anshuman Pathak had gone to have a dip in the river Ganga at Ekwana village on June 26, 2023. While having a dip he went to the deep water and drowned. When he did not return, the family members searched for him everywhere but in vain. On June 28, 2023 in the afternoon, the villagers saw his body floating in the river and informed his family members. Later the family members with the help of villagers fished out the body and informed the police. on information the police came and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
