YOUTH DIED UNDER MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

ARA------------------------One youth died under mysterious circumstances at Karman Tola Rassi Bagan locality under Nawada police station. The deceased was identified as Upendra Kumar 32 son of Jitan Ram of Udwantnagar village under the same police station in Bhojpur district. He was a labourer and had been living in the house of Lilavati Kuer at Karman Tola Rassi Bagan locality under Nawada police station for the last six years.

Munna Kumar, brother of the deceased said that Upendra Kumar lived in the house of his maternal aunt Lilavati Kuer at Karman Tola Rassi Bagan locality and was a drug addict. In the late evening on January 17, 2024, the family members of Lalavati Kuer informed that Upendra Kumar was ailing. On information, when he reached there, he found that Upendra Kumar was lying dead there and blood was oozing out of his nose and mouth. He at once informed the police and the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Munna Kumar denied any dispute from anyone and also suspected that someone might have killed him.

SHO Nawada police station Shambhu Bhagat said that though the family members did not name anyone in the death of Upendra Kumar who might die due to excessive intake of drug. He further said that only postmortem report can confirm the exact reason of his death.
